Celebrating 10 years of your success stories!

From our family to yours, thank you for 10 incredible years. See theimpact we've made together in helping dogs live healthier, happierlives with Pan-tenex.

Ten years ago, we started Pan-tenex with a simple dream:

to help dogs struggling with digestive issues live more comfortable and joyful lives.

We thought that if we could make even a small difference for a handful of dogs and their families, every ounce of effort would be worth it.

What happened next was nothing short of magical.

Because of YOU (your trust, your stories, and your incredible love for your dogs) Pan-tenex grew into something far bigger than we ever imagined.

Every photo, every update, and every “thank you” you’ve sent over the past decade has touched our hearts and reminded us why Pan-tenex exists.

None of this would have been possible without you and your amazing dogs. You are the reason we work every day with the determination to keep Pan-tenex the highest quality, most trusted digestive enzyme supplement on the market.

As we reflect on these ten years, we acknowledge and appreciate the strength of this community and the difference that collective support has made. The incredible stories you share about your dogs are what drives us to keep Pan-tenex available to every dog in need.

We are grateful for you and for every story you have shared along the way.

To celebrate this milestone (and to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts) we created a short video looking back on the past 10 years and the countless tails that are wagging again because of your support.

Here’s to a decade of happier dogs and to many more years of watching them thrive alongside the people who love them most.

With all our love and gratitude,
Pan-tenex | Enzymes for Dogs

 Feeding & Diet

Recommended Feeding Guidelines

To every meal (meal = up to 2.5 cups of food) add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (about 1.4 to 2.8 grams) to moistened pet food that is at room temperature.  Mix well, to allow the enzymes to blend with the food.  After mixing, leave at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before feeding.

For meal sizes of one-cup, you can start with 1/4 teaspoon.

For meal sizes of less than one-cup, you can start with 1/8 teaspoon.

Always use the least amount possible to maintain good stools.

Stay at a given dose for at least 4 days (with every meal) and then examine the stools. If required, increase the dose by only a 1/4 teaspoon increment and wait another 4 days to check the stools again. Repeat this process until stools become firm.

Do I need to change my dog’s diet when starting enzymes?

Not always, but diet plays a key role. Dogs with sensitive stomachs may benefit from certain, limited-ingredient foods (i.e. low-grain, low-fiber).

Can I feed treats when my dog is on enzymes?

Yes, but enzyme support should cover all main meals. Occasional treats without enzymes are usually fine if given within 30 mins of an enzyme treated meal or within 30 mins after an enzyme treated meal.

What role does fiber play in digestive balance?

Too much fiber may interfere with enzyme effectiveness, but some dogs can tolerate fiber.

Precautions:

  • All meals should be prepared fresh with enzymes.
  • Meals prepared with enzymes should not be refrigerated.
  • Powder must be thoroughly mixed & incubated with moistened pet food before feeding.
  • Do not feed dry enzyme powder to your dog.
  • Enzymes do not need to fully dissolve after mixing with pet food.
  • Always provide plenty of fresh water for drinking.
  • Never use hot water in the preparation of enzymes.
  • Do not microwave pet food that has been prepared with enzymes.
  • Enzyme jars should not be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
  • As with any supplement, it should only be given to your dog on the recommendation by and under the supervision of a veterinary professional.
  • This 8.8 Ounce (250 Gram) container provides approximately 89 servings.
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. FOR ANIMAL USE ONLY.

 Usage & Dosage

How much enzyme powder should I use per cup of dog food?

The amount depends on your dog’s meal size and individual needs. A general guideline is provided on every jar, but adjustments may be required.

How do I mix enzyme powder with my dog’s food?

Enzymes should be thoroughly mixed into moistened food to ensure even coating and effectiveness. The prepared meal with enzymes should then be allowed to sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before feeding.

How long until I see results from digestive enzymes?

Many dogs show improvement within days, but for others it may take a few weeks. Consistency of both dose & meal size is key.

Can I give Pan-tenex to small breed dogs?

Yes, but smaller breeds may require enzyme adjustments with their smaller meal sizes to avoid loose stools or over-supplementation.

What about large breed dogs?

Yes, large breeds can also be prone to digestive issues which can require pancreatic enzyme supplementation. Enzymes can help reduce strain during digestion.

Pan-tenex – Pancreatin 10x Potency For Your Dog

Under our firm’s internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), we test the potency of Pan-tenex® at multiple times during the production and shelf life of the product to ensure consistent quality. In addition to our standard testing intervals, we decided to have an independent, third-party laboratory test some recent production batches to demonstrate the 10x potency that is present in Pan-tenex® and share this with our readers.

We contracted with one of the most reputable testing labs in the country, SORA Laboratories, which specializes in enzyme testing for both human and animal products. The attached Certificate of Analysis is the actual result of their laboratory analysis for Pan-tenex® Batch #170610, showing the enzyme potencies present in our product in a 1 Teaspoon (2.8 Gram) dose as follows:

These independent test results prove that Pan-tenex® both meets and exceeds the minimum enzyme levels required for 10x potency.

Contrary to what is sometimes posted on various online forums, these test results further prove that Pan-tenex® is not only 10x in potency but consistently has significantly higher enzyme levels than any Pancreatin 6x or 8x product on the market. Period.

In fact, with Lipase being the most important enzyme for the digestion of fats, this testing illustrates that the Lipase levels in this batch of Pan-tenex® alone are up to 100% higher than Lipase levels found in some Pancreatin 6x products and up to 50% higher than Lipase levels found in some Pancreatin 8x products.

Further testing performed by the same laboratory actually proves that these percentages increase even further on average after testing multiple batches of Pan-tenex® and comparing the results against multiple batches of various 6x and 8x products, which we will highlight in a future blog.

In short, 6x and 8x products simply cannot consistently match the enzyme levels that are present in Pan-tenex®. While such products may work for some dogs, ideally, one should use a product with the highest potency enzymes available. Using the highest potency better ensures that the enzymes will survive their trip with food through the GI tract and stomach acids to complete their intended function. The more enzymes that survive this trip through the GI system, the more proper nutritional absorption will occur. This is one predominant reason why many dogs tend to improve significantly when switched to the higher 10x potency found in Pan-tenex®.

Being a much stronger product, Pan-tenex® becomes the most cost-effective enzyme for dog owners when compared to other less potent pancreatic enzymes on the market.

Below Are Answers To Some Frequently Asked Questions.

What is Pan-tenex?

Pan-tenex is a premium digestive enzyme supplement for dogs with a 10x potency, trusted by thousands of dog owners to support better digestion and nutrient absorption.

Why is Pan-tenex different from other digestive enzymes?

Pan-tenex offers the highest available 10x enzyme potency in a cost-effective, non-acetone formula, meaning you get a lower-cost per serving and a safer, more palatable product for your dog. Pan-tenex does not contain sucrose or lactose like many other, weaker enzymes do. It is specifically designed to support dogs with digestive challenges.

Can I travel with Pan-tenex?

Yes. The powder is lightweight, stable, and can be portioned ahead of time.

Does Pan-tenex need to be refrigerated?

No. Store in a cool, dry place. Heat and moisture should be avoided.

What if my dog has food allergies or sensitivities?

While very few dogs may be sensitive to pancreatic (porcine based) enzymes, enzymes do not contain common allergens. But diet should be managed carefully alongside enzyme use with certain dogs.

Can senior dogs benefit from enzymes?

Older dogs often digest less efficiently, so enzyme support can help maintain weight and comfort.

My dog has gas and bloating. Can enzymes help?

Yes. Enzymes help break down food more completely, reducing undigested material that causes gas.

My dog seems very hungry even with enzymes. Why?

Many dogs need time to adjust or require dosage changes. Persistent hunger can also be diet related.

My dog still has loose stool on enzymes. What should I do?

Loose stool can result from too much enzyme per meal, not enough, or other dietary issues. Adjusting dosage usually helps.
